The veterinary centre is closed for normal business and the 24 hours emergency services apply. You will always be able to contact a veterinary surgeon in the case of an emergency. We live on site and provide our own emergency service. |

While most consultations will be done during regular business hours we know that your pet’s well being is not limited to those hours. In the case of an emergency we offer 24 hour emergency service. If possible, please call us in advance so we may prepare for your emergency.

24 hour after hour service instructions
At Polden Hills Veterinary Centre our 24 hour after hour service is provided on site by our veterinary surgeons. You can rest assured that you will always be dealing with our veterinary centre personally.
Phone the normal clinic number 01278 722088 in the event of an emergency or if you need advice after hours, and follow the instructions below.

After calling the veterinary centre’s number 01278 722088 you will hear an answer message.

PLEASE HOLD and your call will be forwarded to a PAGING SERVICE where you leave your name, number, and a short message (please make sure your telephone number is clear in the message).

A veterinary surgeon will be paged and will return your message as quickly as possible.
The mobile phone reception in the area is very poor and unreliable so we use a reliable paging service.
