Personally, we feel extremely thankful that we are able to perform the ultimate kindness for our patients - to end their needless suffering. When all other options have been explored, and we know that a pet is not going to get better, is suffering, or the pets quality of life is affected then euthanasia is the kindest and most unselfish thing that we can do for them. The suffering an animal is experiencing might not be visible or obvious to you and not all treatment is kind and compassionate.
Sometimes, it is extremely difficult to know when "the right time" has come, especially when dealing with chronic conditions. Pets can’t speak and tell us what the eye doesn’t see, they will have some good days, and some bad days, and the decision of when to euthanise can be a devastating one for the entire family. We will work together with you to help you make the most humane and loving choice for your pet.
We know how difficult it can be for pet owners to make some decisions and we assure you that we will always take as much time as you feel necessary to help you understand the illness or injury and reach the best decision.
We have dedicated a Client Care Room for this purpose. We have been told by many clients that they are very thankful for having privacy and all the time they want with their pet in a warm comfortable room.
We understand that unique relationship that exists between people and their pets – the very special human-animal bond and love you share. And we understand that when you lose a beloved pet it hurts and you may experience the same kind of grief that you would if you would if you lost a human friend.
We care deeply about you and your pet at this difficult time.
Warmest regards,
John and Margaret |
